Make-up + Safety Policy

Promoting Healthy Gatherings

Just like our programming, everything we do at Great Lakes Music Together is intentional. This includes keeping your family and our teachers as safe as possible when gathering for class.

Two things we continue to do as we move away from pandemic restrictions are:

  • Provide unlimited make-up classes > Learn More
  • Implement ongoing, common sense precautions in class > Learn More

As always, we're keeping a keen eye on what's happening in our communities and take our cues from recommendations by health care professionals. If you have any questions about what we're doing to promote healthy gatherings, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Unlimited Make-up Classes!

We know that coming to the same class each week helps your child feel comfortable, recognize familiar faces, and get the most out of their learning and development.

We also know life happens. Illness, travel, and schedule changes are part of having little ones, and we never want families to feel pressure to attend when it is not the right time.

That is why we offer unlimited make-up classes.

If you miss a class for any reason, you are welcome to book a make-up during your session. Make-ups can also be used in a future session, and they do not expire.

Using make-ups in a future session
To use make-ups in a future session, families must be enrolled in that session. This ensures your child has access to the current music and materials used in class, so they can fully participate and benefit from the experience.

Without enrollment in that session, make-ups cannot be used.

We also encourage families, when possible, to save make-ups until after the first few weeks of the session. This gives your child time to settle into their regular class and routine.

Our goal is always to support your family while creating the best possible experience for your child. If you have any questions about how to use your make-ups, we are always happy to help.
